founder of Preventative Aero as a child with his father, a mechanic who worked on the B=2 Spirit stealth bomber, inspiring a career in aircraft maintenance

At Preventative Aero, aviation isn’t just a profession-its personal. My name is Tim Williams, and I’m a certified A&P aviation mechanic with hands on experience in general aviation maintenance, specializing in Lycoming and Continental engines. My journey into aviation started early, inspired by my father, who worked on the first B-2 Stealth Bomber, That foundation instilled in me a deep respect for precision, safety, and accounatbility-values that continue to guide my work today.

Over the years, Ive gained extensive experience performing 50-hour and 100-hour inspections, troubleshooting squawks, and conducting detailed borescope inspections. As a line mechanic, I’ve developed a strong ability to diagnose issues efficiently and keep aircraft operating with minimal downtime, I take a preventative, relationship-centered approach to maintenance-focused not just on fixing the problems, but on helping aircraft owners stay ahead of them.

Preventative Aero was built on the belief that consistent, high-quality maintenance is the key to safety and performance. My mission is simple: deliver reliable, professional service that aircraft owners can trust, every time.
